Hostel & Computer Training Center for Tribal Girls

Kota, on the bank of Chambal River, famous as Industrial City is now become Technology & Educational City. Where students, from all the states of India (35000-40000), both boys and girls are having coaching from various famous institutes for admission in Technical Institutes e.g. IITs, Engineering Colleges & Medical Colleges. Students are coming here for preparation for IIT, CPMT, PMT, PET etc. Kota Institutes are providing major proportion of selected candidates in various Technical & Medical colleges. In it a proportion of Tribal boys/girls is also there, but even now, in some areas like IIT, where tribal students are not selected as per the ratio of Reservation for them. Every year some reserved seats are lapsed. In this scenario, to promote and motivate in technical education, specially for girls, need of a safe and better residential facility for them is felt. Proposed Hostel & Computer Training Center for Tribal Girls is a step in this regard.

Land for Hostel & Computer Training Center for Tribal Girls is allotted by Rajasthan Government without any charges. Society has undertaken the land on 30 August 2001.
